Worsborough

Town in South Yorkshire, northern England, 5 km/3 mi south of Barnsley; population (2001) 9,500. It was formerly a coal-mining centre.

Worsborough mill was recorded in the Domesday Book 1086. The present building, located in Worsborough country park, is a water-powered corn mill constructed in 1625. In use until the 1960s, it has since been renovated and turned into a museum.
