Wylie, Elinor Hoyt (1885–1928)

US novelist and poet. Her poems, which combine fantasy with fine craftsmanship, appear in Nets to Catch the Wind 1921 and several other volumes. The Orphan Angel 1926 is a novel about the English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley; others are Jennifer Lorn 1923, The Venetian Glass Nephew 1925, and Mr Hodge and Mr Hazard 1928.
