Yardley

Suburb on the east side of the city of Birmingham, in the county of West Midlands, England; population (2001, Stecthford and Yardley North) 23,000. Yardley was formerly a village and has a medieval church.

Yardley

Town in Bucks County, southeast Pennsylvania; population (1990) 2,300. It is situated on the Delaware River, 8 km/5 mi northwest of Trenton, New Jersey. It produces chemicals and textiles; there is truck farming in the area.
