Festival overture by Tchaikovsky, Op. 49. It was written for the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Napoleon's retreat from Moscow and was first performed during the Moscow Arts and Industrial Exhibition, on 20 August 1882, at the consecration of the Cathedral of the Redeemer in the Kremlin.
