Yellowstone

Tributary of the Missouri River, rising in the Rocky Mountains, Wyoming, and flowing 1,080 km/671 mi, north through Yellowstone National Park, then east through Montana and North Dakota to join the Missouri River. The river is used as a recreational facility and as a source of irrigation by ranchers and farmers in the east.
