Younger, George Younger, 1st Viscount Younger of Leckie (1851–1929)

Scottish Conservative politician, MP for Ayr 1906–22. In 1917, he was appointed by Conservative leader Bonar Law as party chairman. In this role, he was largely responsible for the success of the Liberal–Conservative coalition in the so-called Coupon Election of 1918.

George Younger was born into the prominent Younger's brewing dynasty. He was raised to the peerage in 1923.
