Ysaÿe, Théo(phile) (1865–1918)

Belgian pianist and conductor, brother of Eugène Ysaÿe. He studied at the Liège Conservatory, with Kullak in Berlin, and with Franck in Paris. He often appeared at concerts with his brother and also gave recitals of his own.

Requiem; symphonies, symphonic poems, fantasy, Suite wallonne for orchestra; piano concerto; piano quintet.
