Zannetti, Francesco (1737–1788)

Italian composer. He was a pupil of Clari in Pisa. In 1760 he became maestro di cappella at Perugia Cathedral, where he remained until his death.

Works

seven operas including L'Antigono (1765) La Didone abbandonata (1766) and Artaserse (1782); masses, requiems and other church music; string quintets, string trios, trio sonatas.
