Zigeunerbaron, Der

Operetta by Johann Strauss, Jr (libretto by I Schnitzer, based on another by M Jókai founded on his own story Saffi). It was produced at the Theater an der Wien, Vienna on 24 October 1885. After returning from exile, Sándor Barinkay finds family lands occupied by gypsies but falls for Sáffi, a gypsy princess in disguise.
