Zimmermann, Frank Peter (1965– )

German violinist. He played Mozart's third concerto at Duisburg aged ten, studying later with Gawrillof and Krebbers. In 1984 he made his US debut with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He played Mozart's fourth concerto at the 1986 Salzburg Festival and has appeared throughout Europe, Australia, and the Far East. His recordings include the Tchaikovsky and Sibelius concertos.
