Zwillingsbrüder, Die

Play with music by Schubert (libretto by G E von Hofmann), produced at the Kärntnertortheater, Vienna, on 14 June 1820. The story concerns the betrothal of Anton and Lieschen, which is complicated by the prior claim of Franz Spiers and the reappearance of his missing twin brother Friedrich.
