Abelia

Genus of evergreen and deciduous shrubs, in the Caprifoliaceae (honeysuckle) family, some of which are hardy in southern England. The Chinese Abelia chinensis and A. schumannii, and the Mexican A. floribunda are cultivated for their summer and autumn flowers.
