accumulation (law)

    0.06 sec.

accumulation

In law, an income from property that increases with the passage of time. English law prohibits provisions in wills and deeds that such income should be accumulated indefinitely without distributing it to the beneficiaries.

The maximum period of accumulation is limited by provisions in the Law of Property Act 1925 and the Perpetuities and Accumulations Act 1964.
