Essential tremor (ET) is a neurologic disease that is characterized
by an action tremor of the hands and/or head. A coarse
bilateral upper extremity action tremor was noted. Less commonly, action tremor (6-8 Hz) can be
observed during the execution of movements, or postural tremor can be
observed when the person bears weight through the limb or encounters
resistance to movement of the limbs, trunk, head, or neck. |
