1848UKThe English artists William Holman Hunt, John Everett Millais, and Dante Gabriel Rossetti found the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Rejecting the materialism and industrialization of Victorian England, they seek an art which has the moral and religious integrity of the medieval world.
