amnesia

Loss or impairment of memory. As a clinical condition it may be caused by disease or injury to the brain, by some drugs, or by shock; in some cases it may be a symptom of an emotional disorder.

At the doses used, ketanserin challenge did not cause any amnestic effect in control rats: neither working (Figure 5A) nor reference (Figure 5B) memory error rates were affected.
Somnolence, slurred speech, amnestic dysphasia, and impaired fine motor control, but no meningism, focal signs, pyramidal tract, or sensation impairment, were observed.
