It is an environment of
great violence, beauty and
motion: gulls, terns, pipers
zipping by within inches of
your head, angelfish and
blacktip reef sharks at your
feet, and always the big
combers marching in to die in
shuddering explosions against
the coral ramparts of the barrier
reef.
Descriptively exploring variations of angelfish and particulars of
genetics, Breeding And Raising Angelfishes knowledgeably presents
details of water quality, dietary aspects, reproduction, and diseases
with respect to the quite beautiful and enduringly popular angelfish. Nondivers can also enjoy underwater sights - my wife and I
snorkeled out to a reef and watched a sea turtle gnawing on a bit of
sponge while a queen angelfish hovered nearby and snatched at scraps
dropped by the turtle. |
