anicca

Buddhist theory that all aspects and attributes of life are transient and undergoing constant change. It is one of the three signs of existence in Buddhism, together with dukkha (suffering) and anatta (impersonality or no self).

The concept of anicca declares that all living things grow old and die or perish, happiness turns to sadness and vice versa, and nothing is static - even mountains gradually erode.
