Collection of trees. An arboretum may contain a wide variety of species or just closely related species or varieties – for example, different types of pine tree.

City Park in New Orleans, which is often described as the Central Park of the South, has received pledges from the Central Park Conservancy, the City Park Alliance and the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta.
The maximum fee for weddings and receptions at arboreta and garden facilities, now $2,000, will rise to $2,500.
Many others now live in cultivation at botanical gardens, public arboreta, nurseries, and private estates around the country.
