army worm

Leucania unipunctata, the larva of a nocturnal moth in the family Noctuidae of the order Lepidoptera. It takes its name from its habit of marching in great numbers. It does much damage to crops in North America.

Herculex XTRA is the stacked-trait product, which combines Herculex RW with Herculex I, providing protection against corn rootworm, European and southwestern corn borer, fall armyworm, black cutworm and western bean cutworm.
One agricultural pest, the fall armyworm moth, blows from the south to the northeastern and north-central United States and bursts out in abundant populations in the new territory, according to Dingle.
The Herculex I product is unique because it includes resistance to black cutworm, fall armyworm, southwestern corn borer and suppression of corn earworm in addition to European corn borer.
