radial artery

Artery that passes down the forearm and supplies blood to the hand and the fingers. The brachial artery, a large artery supplying blood to the arm, divides at the elbow to form the radial and ulnar arteries. The pulsation of blood through the radial artery can be felt at the wrist. This is generally known as the pulse.
