For the chief baroque buildings of Rome see Gianlorenzo Bernini and Francesco Borromini. In Venice the finest baroque building is the church of Santa Maria della Salute 1631 by Baldassare Longhena. There are other examples in Milan, and many in Turin (mainly by Giovanni Guarini).
