List of books on a particular subject, or used in the research for a work; or a list of all the books by a particular writer.

An annotated or critical bibliography includes a critical judgement on listed works; some bibliographies include an abstract of the contents of the works.

Consequently, the precise relationship between mind (cognitive faculty) and worldview (religious or transcendental vision of reality) remains obscure, and this obscurity is subsequently compounded in his cursory and bibliographically vacuous account of the rise and function of worldviews and the various cognitive structures, processes and functions constituting them.
These include disciplinary specialization (and with it the fragmentation of literature), burgeoning interdisciplinary information needs, a lack of resources to manage materials that require translation, and a lack of methods to manage bibliographically the variety of media and formats for new materials.
This English version preserves the values of the German edition: critically informed, using all the methods of modern interpretation, bibliographically comprehensive, written clearly, and paying special attention to the Nachleben of the text (history of interpretation).
