The National SIDS Council of Australia has called for a 50 cent levy on every cigarette pack to research SIDS and still birth prevention and to run an education program targeted at teenage girls and young women. Researchers attributed the decrease to $128 million a year in state and private funding for teen birth prevention programs that include comprehensive sex education. The foundation's mission is better described as eugenicist, specifically focusing on birth prevention among non-white populations. |
