Marine bony fish. They have a compressed oblong body covered with small scales and grow to about 70 cm/27.5 in in length.

Classification

Horse mackerel are in the genus Trachurus, belonging to the family Carangidae in the order Perciformes, class Osteichthyes.

Bluefin is the largest of the various tuna species caught and marketed annually.
Al did himself one better by relaying the story of two anglers fishing with him off Block Island, RI, who caught and tagged the same bluefin tuna, twice--within 20 minutes
