Bonny

Town and port in Cross Rivers State, Nigeria, situated in the southeast of the Niger delta, 40 km/25 mi downstream from Port Harcourt, on the Bonny River. It is an important pipeline terminal serving the oil fields of southeast Nigeria, and also trades in palm oil.

Bonny was associated with the slave trade in the 18th and 19th centuries.
