Degree to which a consumer recognizes and recalls a particular brand. Analysis of brand awareness also includes strategic awareness, asking why a brand is recalled. Building brand awareness involves creating a broad sales base and can involve operating outside the normal media channels by using events promotion, product placement, guerrilla marketing, and other less conventional methods of reaching the consumer.
