The protagonist is Giovanni Buffa, a priest who recounts his life among "Mafiosi. All periods are comprehensively analyzed: baroque, classical, romantic, bel canto, opera buffa, German romanticism, Wagner and music drama, verismo, plus analysis of the Tristan Chord, atonalism and minimalism. Peter Buffa, vice president of marketing for HeartSavers, an Irvine-based company with three centers, said the company has struggled to get by and has cut back on advertising, but is still in operation. |
