There's no sense of violence in the multiple piercings of the fish; their apertures seem to cause no pain as they cavort in and out of the substance around which their world revolves. The gently and respectfully caricatured cat cavorts through the book's pages, all the while telling the boy what he wants to know--if at times indirectly. The next anthropomorphic atrocity will be seen on the Jackass spin-off Wildboyz, where Hawk cavorts about Burnquist's loop in a chimp suit. |
