agreement

In grammar, the selection of the form of a word so that the parts of a sentence agree in number, case, and gender. The agreement (or concord) of a verb with a noun is especially important, for example a verb, such as to be, will change form (I am/he is/they are). A determiner also has to agree with its noun, as in much traffic, many cars).
