Opera by Antonio Caldara (libretto by Pietro Metastasio), first produced at the court in Vienna, Austria, during Carnival in 1735. It presents four friends who while away the time acting out legends.

It is also the title of an opera by Christoph Willibald von Gluck (libretto by Metastasio), first produced for the court at Schlosshof, near Vienna, on 24 September 1754.
