collimator

Optical device for producing a nondivergent beam of light, or any device for limiting the size and angle of spread of a beam of radiation or particles. The term is also used for a small telescope attached to a larger optical instrument to fix its line of sight.

When you do weekly PMCS, get the collimator out and make sure its knobs still work and the leveling bubble moves.
