Three types of biopsy are: 1- Incisional biopsy or a core biopsy In this type of biopsy only a small part of the tissue is removed.

A core biopsy of the mass revealed benign features with areas of extensive infarctoid necrosis, abscess formation and a cellular, necrotic proliferation.
