corporate voodoo

    0.02 sec.

corporate voodoo

Term used to describe the phenomenon of rapidly growing companies, with regard to both company revenues and to share price. The term was coined by UK authors Ren Carayol and David Firth, in part to describe the phenomenon of such rapidly growing companies during the Internet boom. In their book Corporate Voodoo (2001), the authors argued that companies must possess five essential characteristics in order to weave such corporate magic. They should be virtual, open cultured, customer-led, risk-embracing, and courageous.
