canine

In mammalian carnivores, any of the long, often pointed teeth found at the front of the mouth between the incisors and premolars. Canine teeth are used for catching prey, for killing, and for tearing flesh. They are absent in herbivores such as rabbits and sheep, and are much reduced in humans.

It has two bicuspid pontics suspended in between the cuspid and lateral, both of ceramco materials, are individual units.
We collected 32 cuspid teeth from these cats (Table 1), although only 1 tooth from each cat was tested for Bartonella DNA.
Patients were allocated to either miconazole Lauriad(R) 50mg Bioadhesive Buccal Tablets, one tablet daily to be applied in the cuspid fossa in the morning after teeth brushing and to remain in the oral cavity until the tablets complete erosion without being sucked or chewed; or miconazole gel 500mg daily in 4 divided doses (gel to be kept in the mouth for as long as possible before being swallowed).
