C++

In computing, a high-level programming language used in object-oriented applications. Developed in the early 1980s as a set of enhancements to the original C language, C++ has become one of the most used languages for developing commercial software applications. Ratified as an international standard in 1998 it was backed both by Microsoft through Microcoft Visual C++ Studio and by Borland through Borland C++ Builder.
