DataGlove

In virtual reality, a glove wired to a computer that allows it to take input from a user's hand movements. Sensors in the glove detect the movements and transmit these to the computer in a digital format which the computer can interpret.

DataGlove is a trademark of VPL Research; the general term for such devices is wired glove.
