Dal

River in southeast Sweden, length 400 km/249 mi. It is formed by the confluence of the Österdalälv and Västerdalälv (East and West Dal), and enters the Gulf of Bothnia about 95 km/60 mi from Uppsala.

The association with blood lead was surprisingly strong, with a 2-fold increase in risk for each microgram per decaliter increase in blood lead levels.
Resulting blood concentrations, about 40 micrograms per decaliter, are at the high end of what can be found in humans.
0 to 150 micrograms (ug) per decaliter (dl) of blood can be fatal to a child.
