The tub liner can be used with residents with severe decubitus, burns, skin allergies, skin sensitivities, proctology issues, etc. The Wound Dressing is indicated for the management of chronic skin wounds including decubitus (pressure) ulcers, venous stasis ulcers and diabetic ulcers as well as second-degree burns and post-radiation dermatitis. Based on interviews with 31 individuals with decubitus ulcers who could reliably describe their experiences, researchers defined the characteristics of decubitus ulcers associated with reports of pain during dressing changes. |
