Di Suvero, Mark (1933- )

Chinese-born US sculptor. After attending the University of California, he settled in New York City and founded the SoHo Cooperative Gallery. His works include large outdoor sculptures, such as Tower of Peace (1966).

He was born in Shanghai, China and his family moved to California in 1941. Based in Europe from 1971, he lived in the Netherlands and France.
