| All diallers operating on premium rate numbers now have to be licensed by ICSTIS, and if they do not have a licence they will be shut down. LAN-based and PC-based telephone systems are beyond the scope of this update report, as are such product categories as audio call recording systems, predictive diallers, collaborative browsing software, CRM software and e-mail management software which, although they may include a CTI capability are not, per se, CTI products. You could well argue that Grayware--the collective term for the family of Adware, Spyware, Diallers, Hijackers, Key-Loggers and other 'Ghost' Programs that are perpetually installing themselves onto every PC on the planet--is the new Spam. |
