diaper

In Gothic architecture, a small pattern of a conventional nature, generally geometrical but sometimes floral in design, used for the surface decoration of stone. The idea was probably taken from the diapered pattern of Byzantine silks, and was also used in glass painting and illuminated manuscripts. There are good examples at Westminster Abbey and at Bayeux Cathedral.

As a proud cloth-diapering mama of two and the owner of a cloth-diapering business, I'm always thrilled to see cloth diapering in the pages of Mothering and the media.
The up-front investment for cloth diapering is substantial, but the people at Indigenous Babies offer a fiscal compromise.
It's hard to find a public place that doesn't provide special diapering areas for youngsters, usually in restrooms, so parents can comfortably do the job and properly discard of the soiled diaper in a sealed plastic bag and special trash can.
