dungarees

Garment consisting of trousers and a bib panel with shoulder straps, used by workmen in the early 20th century and by women during World War II. In the 1940s-60s dungarees became a fashion garment and appeared with extra pockets and flaps, made in denim and other lightweight fabrics.
