He has authored more than 40 scientific papers on topics ranging from aquarium procedures to fish hematology to the feeding and reproduction of sharks, and is a former member of the board of directors of the American Elasmobranch Society (devoted to the study of sharks and related marine life), for which he served as president in 1992-93. |
