endgame strategy

    0.04 sec.

endgame strategy

Strategy dealing with a declining product or company. The traditional strategy employed with a product in the decline phase of its product life-cycle is to cut prices, cut spending on marketing, and to squeeze as much as possible from the product in the remaining time. Alternatively the product can be steered into a niche market for a quiet but still hopefully profitable retirement. Some companies have managed to extend the product life-cycle by adopting innovative endgame strategies.
