epididymis

In male vertebrates, a long coiled tubule in the testis, in which sperm produced in the seminiferous tube are stored. In men, it is a duct about 6 m/20 ft long, convoluted into a small space.

Neonatal treatment of male mice with tamoxifen induces various abnormalities to the reproductive tract (36,51), and its administration to adult male rats reduced the weight of the SV, ventral prostate, and epididymides (52,53).
This enzyme is a Type II isoenzyme and is found primarily in the prostate, seminal vesicles, epididymides and hair follicles as well as the liver, but not the muscle.
