errorIn computing, a fault or mistake, either in the software or on the part of the user, that causes a program to stop running (crash) or produce unexpected results. Program errors, or bugs, are largely eliminated in the course of the programmer's initial testing procedure, but some will remain in most programs. All computer operating systems are designed to produce an error message (on the display screen, or in an error file or printout) whenever an error is detected, reporting that an error has taken place and, wherever possible, diagnosing its cause.

Zilbergeld (1992, 1999) stated that men with erectile disorders present a set of myths and erroneous beliefs about sexuality that work as a vulnerability factor to the development of their difficulties: "a man always wants and is ready to have sex"; "a real man is sexually functional"; "sex is centered in a rigid penis and what we can do with it"; and "sex equals intercourse. This erroneous belief, however, left many GIs feeling a sense of immobility and confusion rather than a sense of manhood. Once an erroneous belief is set in someone's mind through rumor and misunderstanding, it is very difficult to dislodge--even with the facts. |
