The compass of the euphonium.

Tenor four-valved brass band instrument of the bugle type, often mistaken for a tuba. It is used chiefly in brass and military bands.

Prior to each concert performance, a small ensemble of DWS brass musicians-trumpets, horns, trombones, euphoniums and tubas--performs one brief fanfare in the lobby of the Meyerson Symphony Center.
It's mostly compositions of my own creation for a very large brass ensemble - six trumpets, four French horns, four trombones, two euphoniums, two tubas, harp, percussion, piano and drum.
