Test

River in Hampshire, southern England; length 48 km/30 mi. It rises near Ashe and flows south through Stockbridge and Romsey, before flowing into Southampton Water. It is used for trout fishing.

Clinical assessments, lung function and respiratory muscle strength (force-generating capacity) testing, 6-minute walk tests (6MWTs), and cardiopulmonary exercise tests (CPETs) were administered by the same examiner both prior to and after each 8-week treatment without knowledge of the subject's group assignment.
The low heart rates were mostly attributable to the fact that the study was done in the community setting and the fieldworkers were very cautious in performing the exercise tests among coronary patients.
