auditory canal

Tube leading from the outer ear opening to the eardrum. It is found only in animals whose eardrums are located inside the skull, principally mammals and birds.

We report the unusual finding of multiple angiomas of the external auditory canal secondary to Sturge-Weber syndrome.
It is an inflammatory condition of the external auditory canal, the outside ear.
They noted that neurofibroma-induced hearing loss can be caused by obstruction of the external auditory canal or invasion of the middle and inner ear.
